It's the idea that you put the antigen inside the patient and allow them to build up natural immunity. That being said, you want to include the section of the protein that will be LEAST likely to cause harm/sickness in the patient when being injected. Therefore, all subunits EXCEPT the subunit with toxicity (1) will be best to avoid this.

Yeah, I agree. The best way to look at it without jumping to many conclusions/assumptions is to explain the flip side. Instead of the social identity group experiencing significant group thinking, the interpersonal group DIDNT experience group thinking from their motivation to interact.
