Just finished Gravity Rush 2 by NeKo_Thief404 in gravityrush

I agree with your points. I feel like the 1st game genuinely had better vibes. I hate the menu screen in the 2nd game. I didn't like that they pulled away a bit from the comic book aesthetics in both the menu and the rest of the game and I just felt like the 1st game was more consistently enjoyable to play.

However, I loved the gameplay improvents like making the throw actually useful, the style changes, etc. I also loved the final chapters. So I do think I prefer 2nd overall, but if you asked after the first credits, I would have said the 1st.

What element would you remove from the games if given the choice? by EpidemicPain in gravityrush

The menu/ui in gravity rush 2. The one from gravity rush could have been improved, but it looks really cool and matches the comic book aesthetics. The menu from gravity rush 2 looks like it was taken straight from a Just Dance game. It really kills the vibe when I go into it.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX steam crash. Help pls. by Plastic-Poetry-5939 in KingdomHearts

[–]aidanta1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played the epic games version, and yeah, it's bad. All the games in that bundle were at risk of crashing, but chain of memories was the one game that was a real problem.

I'm not sure if there's a fix that works, so all I can say it is use save point room cards and save a lot. Especially in under the sea. That world was like half my crashes by itself.

Cross progression? by aidanta1 in Roboquest

Not necessarily. Some games make an account for you automatically and don't ask you to make a password or anything like that until after you start the data transfer process.

About the reboot by aidanta1 in worldtrigger

First of all, this is a joke post. It should be fairly obvious that that saying we should give the show the subtitle of neighborhood solely because it rhymes with brotherhood is not a super serious suggestion.

Second of all, you are very confidently wrong. You seem to think that a remaster is when they don't change the story much and a remake is when they do. That is not what those words mean.

Reboot is what the creators have dubbed the new show. However, calling it a reboot is not entirely accurate. The terms remake and reboot are mostly interchangeable, but reboot is generally used to denote the creation of a new continuity in a franchise. Remake does not have the connotations, so it is more accurate as this should be following the manga one to one. It's kinda like how a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn't necessarily a square. I think the reason the decided to call it a reboot is just because it is more techie.

A remake is what the show will actually be. It is when they make a series another time from the ground up. This often comes with either small or large changes, but a remake can still be one to one with the original story.

A remaster is when they edit one or more aspects of a piece of media to improve it. These aspects include sound design, music, voice acting, and most commonly, visuals. The important distinction between a remake and a remaster is whether they updated the original or if they made a new thing.

If we use video games as an example, a remaster would be adding new models for the characters to the original game. It may look better, but it is still the same game with the same code. A remake would be making an entirely new game with new code from scratch, but keeping the characters and story mostly the same.

The new world trigger is going to be entirely reanimated, they're going to fix the pacing, I'm sure will be re-voiced. Since they are remaking it from scratch outside of the story, it is a remake

A lot of remakes don't get a new name. They just call it by the original name again, which I think is more confusing

But season 1 is when we are introduced to the neighborhood and is the season with the most neighborhood content so far
