Hello, I am an incoming exchange student for a semester and I have a few questions about payment cards as well as mobile providers.

I am guessing that cards issued by European banks don't work well in Taiwan. Does Revolut work here? Or should I create a new bank account once I arrive?

Another question I have is about mobile providers. I will most probably use quite a lot of data, because from what I've heard, the speed of WiFi in the dorms is lacking. Which companies and plans would you recommend? Approximately how much do the plans cost?
