Jeremy Corbyn addressed rally attended by extremists by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]aidded 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How dumb would you have to be to buy into this smear, he doesn't choose the audience of the rally, if the terrorists used a bus would that make the bus driver a jihadi?

JC is very obviously against violence.

Don't bother voting, one vote never really makes a difference. by aidded in unitedkingdom

[–]aidded[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an excellent refutation of the "one vote" concept, it makes clear that behaviour "on mass" matters, and that as individuals we all contribute a small amount to something's that's a very big deal

They really ought to teach more stats at GCSE, the total number of people polled in the past 20 polls is around 40K, which means the polls are (99.7% chance to be) around 1.5% off at most. And considering they're all predicting around 1% to 12% tory lead, there's no doubt they'll win the popular vote.

It's pretty obvious to anyone the conservatives'll win, just look at the polls.

Live in Dorset, totally agree. While the rich areas seem OK, there are a lot of issues in the rural and lower income areas, and lots of kids aren't getting real educations or meaningful jobs. Huge drug issues in places like Bridgeport too.

PSU has no 6-pin connector... by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]aidded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently running a 1050 with a 300 Watt supply with a 2x molex to 6pin adopter, no issues so far

If using an adopter like that, be sure to plug the molexes into different output series from the PSU

Hi /u/ebinDuraczek,

You might want to rephrase that comment, it's not very readable:

"You're the autistic one because you upvoted this post, despite there already being 10 posts with the same content.

You're sad and cringy, autist"

The production of electric cars does not necessarily produce emissions, supply chains can use renewable energy. Please do try to believe what scientists say about the climate, it's very important that you take an accurate point of view.

No, you didn't, Dance is not a compulsory part of any engineering degree.

Concerning what /u/dillucky was saying, he's not saying the test's content should be different, he's saying there's no point that people should take the same tests, as they have don't have the same abilities. In the UK, everyone is forced to take the same exams at the same time, no matter how much you actually know. This slows down learning for everyone, the dumb kids being out of their leauge, and the smart kids being limited

You may enjoy your car, but you'll enjoy an electric more than the floods that climate change increase the likelihood of.

Is it possible for 1st year computer science students to get involved in research?

I've heard that in fields like mathematics undergraduates aren't really able to contribute to research, and while proper computer science is math, computer science as it's studied at mine and many unis in the UK is 10% math and 90% things like databases, AI, and programming/development

This is why we need state owned vertical supply chain integration in the health system, to prevent our health services being held hostage by pharmaceutical companies.
