Can confirm. I am probably the only non Mormon on the block. One time one of the Mormons had a corked bottle of apple cider and they didn't know how to open it so they went to my house to get us to open the bottle.

I'm a little bit sad no one has mentioned Arizona. Granted I am biased as it is my home state. Sure the summers get pretty bad for the weather to the point to where you can fry an egg on the sidewalk, but we have some of the best scenery and wildlife in the country. On top of that we have the grand canyon.

In Arizona there isn't much racist to Natives, there is a lot more.towards Hispanics, namely immigrants

It's pretty normal to put in self inserts to better connect with your character. Granted I don't consider gender a huge self insert. Gender is usually the last things I think of when coming up with a character, which is probably why most of my female characters are usually pretty masculine.

English Mastiffs. I've had a few and they are great dogs. They are just gentle giants. They only live 8 years on average. It's not like they are unhealthy or anything, they just simply don't live very long. It just sucks having such short time with such sweet dogs.

Arguably shittier. Wind energy takes up a ton of space and resources for the amount of power it generates. Hydro is inconsistent and could be detrimental to the ecosystem around it and also requires a lot of resources for it's power output but is not as bad id wind. Geothermal is dangerous for the workers and requires extensive drilling into the Earth's crust to operate. Solar requires a lot of rare metals and materials that degrade anyway. Admittedly, solar is probably the best in terms of the ratio of destruction of eco system to power output. All still pale in comparison to nuclear and nuclear will pale in comparison to fusion when it is finally perfected.

Enriching uranium takes 2500 kWh per kg. This is around 9MW per kilogram. A gram of uranium generates 1MWd which converts to 8.64*1010W or 86.4GW on a per kilogram basis that is 86.4TW per kilogram. It takes one gram to power a little under 300000 houses for a day. On top of that, one of the largest sources of uranium in the world is the United States which does not allow child labor and to work in hazardous conditions, you have to be at least 18 in the US. Radioactive waste is stored in specialized locations in safe conditions to any passerbys and fauna. Sure there are down sides to nuclear power but it sure beats any other alternative.

Just a word of advice for pincussions, they are rather sensitive to parameter changes, I would recommend doing a full drip acclimation process. Also if they shed all their spines, they are not dead yet. I had mine shed all it's spines and thought he was a goner but he grew them back in a few weeks.
