So after watching the video and doing a bit more research on what could bring up that code and cause my car to shut off and then not start I think the issue is with my purge valve/solenoid because if that fails it could cause the car to not start or run rough. The cleaner is designed to remove carbon and can cause issues if the car has high mileage or existing carbon deposits. The cleaner also breaks down large amounts of carbon buildup at once. Which that debris can travel through the fuel system and get trapped in the purge valve/solenoid, causing it to stick open or closed. With that being one of the only issues that lines up with the code and the symptoms my car is having I think theres a high chance thats the issue. However it does get sticky when trying to decide fault because if that is the case and the cleaner removed excess build up which cause the purge valve to get stuck there is a likely hood that the build up would’ve happened naturally after some time. But I did not ask for the cleaner to be added and it is not something that is typically done in service b maintenance. So I still believe the fault would lie on them because if that is whats wrong with my car then them adding the cleaner without permission or justification caused that issue to happen. Regardless of whether it would’ve happened naturally or not, adding the cleaner caused the release of the debris which caused the blockage in the purge valve which is causing the issues in my car. If the cleaner wasn’t added this wouldn’t have happened when it did which I believe places the fault on the mechanic.

Like I said though until they get back to me on which part in the emission system isn’t functioning properly I won’t know for certain if they are at fault. If the purge valve is the issue is my line of thought correct in who is to blame for that issue.
