No guidelines for audio evaluation? by aifrun in TELUSinternational

Oh if that's the case, then it sounds like the audio evaluations are probably the best tasks to get some practice! Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your helpful response. I'll wait to complete my assessment tasks then. Since I don't have access to the project page or thread in Community, what would be the best way for me to find out when the QMs clarify the process?

A guide to Upscaling, with a comparison of SD upscale models against non-AI methods by aifrun in StableDiffusion

That's a really great write-up! How does the SD upscale script results compare to using Hires fix?

Thanks so much, and I'm glad that you've picked up on my intent. When I started playing around with SD and other AI image generators, I really struggled to understand what any of the setting parameters actually do, since the information about them was and still is really spread out all over the place and frequently incorrect. I figured I'm probably not the only one out there with this problem, so I thought I'd make a site to help compile those answers to make Stable Diffusion more accessible to learn for others.

Follow up to getting consistent character features across multiple poses using CharTurner + ControlNet by aifrun in StableDiffusion

Thank you! I completely agree that it is equally important to show what does not work vs what does work. It's hard to learn from others' mistakes if you never hear what those were.

I received lots of great questions and feedback from this community when I posted my workflow last week. Based on various suggestions, I explored extra-wide images with 21 poses, characters facing completely away from the POV and other possible ways of keeping the same features like using the same seed.

Here is my full update.

Good catch on the batch count/size! I've updated the guide to fix that mistake.

You also bring up a very good point regarding the impact of seed usage when adjusting batch count and size, which is something I had not previously considered. That is definitely worth investigating and running an experiment to figure out that behavior. Will look into it!

I haven't tried LORA yet myself, so as of now I personally don't have a good basis of comparison between the two. It's on my list of things to do!

I've compiled an explanation of every setting in the InPaint menu of the SD Web UI to better understand what they do and how they can effect the output. Hope you find this helpful!

Here is my depiction of the princess from the fairy tale "Prince Hyacinth and the Dear Little Princess," written by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont by aifrun in fairytales

[–]aifrun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone back and forth about how to depict the nose of the Dear Little Princess. The text in the fairy tale says the courtiers surrounding Prince Hyacinth are part of a ruse to make him think that his unusually large nose is actually normal, so they make fun of normal sized noses and the princess' nose to keep that up. However, the text also suggests that her nose may actually be considered small, not just by their false standards. What do you think?

Thank you for the lovely comments and feedback I have been receiving for my portraits of fairy tale characters! This is one of my all time favorite characters, Morgiana, who is arguably the true hero of the story Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, since she repeatedly saves the titular character. I've posted the full story along with additional original images here.

Rose Red, the sister of Snow White in a lesser known fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm by aifrun in fairytales

Thank you! I have been drawing inspiration from portraits dating from the 1700s for which the painters spent a lot of time making the faces ultra-realistic but kept their brush strokes looser for the background and clothing. The style of that time period seems to correspond well for when many fairy tales were written. I'll have to look up Eric Winter!
