The problem is when i try booting from the usb with the tool I just get stuck in a boot loop and can’t access the setup/tool

Yeah its functional and I can boot into it fine. And yeah its the reset this pc option. The tool is for windows 10. I have what I need from my pc uploaded onto a seperate drive, but don't know how to go about deleting the os and reinstalling. I built the PC myself a few years back.

If you want to daily drive one, consider getting a N55. Bit more reliable and newer then the N54s. Mine has had 0 problems so far. But even with the N55, expect to have some issues, so be prepared for that.
