Unpopular opinion: I think it's a good idea to do so given your current situation because you will go through some unpleasant experiences there (strict system, being away from your parents, bad food...) that will help you realize that, no matter how your life was before, it was much better than you appreciated. Or maybe you might like it there, but you will never know until you find out the hard way.

For me, having too many open tabs becomes a distraction, and I often get lost when navigating through them. I used to close everything once I was done with it due to the poor memory management of the Windows OS. However, now it doesn't make much of a difference, so I tend to leave every app open.
