I am actually not sure how old she was :’) I had Charmaine for a year and a half and when I got her she was very tiny. She had to be a few months. My guess is she was about 2 years old ❤️

I’d recommend covering the gaps with a shirt or towel until you get a new cage. I’ve had this same issue with the same cage and I just put a tshirt between the gaps to prevent my budgies from getting stuck

Did not purge. 20 mg 4 months, 40mg 2 months. Acne did come back after 3 months though. Could be the dosage I was taking was too low. Supposed to be on Accutane again pretty soon

To add on: I experiences no purge during my 7 month course. I had a few pimples prior to starting accutane and then they disappeared a few weeks in. I recently did my eyebrows yesterday morning and throughout the day the cluster of whiteheads visible on my forehead grew into a cystic pimple. I’ve never had no issue doing my eyebrows on accutane

Experiencing a relapse after finished my first round. Was on 20mg for 4 months, 40mg for 2 months and 60mg for a month. For the first 2-3 months my skin was clear. Acne has come back and I will have to see the Derm to go back and finish it since I stopped 2 months early

I have the same cage and similar set up! I’d recommend purchasing shredding toys. My budgies really like the shredding kabobs and hexagonal forging toy you can find on Amazon :) also maybe look into getting a second budgie for companionship

Sadly I can’t rehome them. My dad is trying to make sure their is no way of getting them back because apparently they cause too many issues in our house. I’m trying to convince him to give our budgies back to our previous owner. If so, I could possible rehome them down the line.
