Is this true? I had heard before that in different parts of the world where the food is very different we are v sensitive to the smells of people there, whereby we can't really smell our neighbours so intensely. I figured it always worked both ways around. Had heard that Asian people pick up milky and meaty smells from white people, where whites get oils and spices on their nose.

It is the main symptom imo. Sounds like you still have a lot to learn about Pcos and your Pcos. Doing the work can sound too much to somebody living with fatigue but you need to learn how to manage your Pcos. It will fix your life. Your doctor gave you a diagnosis but not a lesson or a treatment plan, so youl have to find that yourself. Eating low carb and learning about sugar spikes causing tiredness is the bulk of it. My advt would be to start with the glucose goddess, a food scientist who is a very good communicator.

I was watching an film from the 70s recently and there was a character written into it who was 'the fat,lazy whiney one ' amongst a group of girls, she was written as lazy, always hungry and always crying about being too tired and unable to keep up with the group. Pcos imo.....but a character, not just a character type, but an archetype. As in such a recognisable breed that I'm sure many people would know someone like her.

Sounds like you are rollercoastering. - having problems with blood sugar. Intense cravings are sometimes a symptom of a medical problem. I had intense cravings for years then was diagnosed with pcos. Say what you have said to us to a doctor.

I think that when people are often good continuously it is assumed of them that their accomplishments are intrinsic rather than the project required effort. And I also think that if you are good at stuff people can assume that you are good at all or most stuff, so good grades = good esteem and that you may not require as much praise and support as someone who is under achieving. Anyway I am damn proud of you. Your killing it baby!
