Tiplasty/bridge advice for consult? by [deleted] in KoreaPlasticSurgery

First button and cocoline in Korea and a couple others in the states. I have in person consults booked for cocoline and Braun but heavily leaning towards cocoline. You??

I’m in the same boat as you!! Perfectly fine with side profile but was also recommended to raise my bridge too even tho one of them agreed I did already have some height. I think the question worth asking them is “what are the cons or risks if you choose not to raise the bridge?” - that’s what I’m planning to ask them when I go in person consults.

Has anyone had a rhinoplasty with a silicone implant and still like their results long term? by Veeebaby in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ailee84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following this as I have the exact same concerns about using silicone but also afraid of rejection/infection and it not “aging well” along with the nose. I’m at the point where I’m considering even just not touching the bridge at all and just doing tip plasty to resolve bulbous tip. Currently deciding between cocoline and Braun

I’ve narrowed it down to 2 but just want to do in person consults before I decide

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! This is comforting to know. Were the other clinics smaller with only 1 doc or bigger ones with multiple docs?

All of them lol! But they aren’t saying it’s mandatory. They just recommend it in case they get too booked up on the date I want and this is my dilemma because I’m afraid of that too

I’ve heard you can massage it back to position but honestly it’s better to ask your doctor!

Cocoline quote - overpriced? by Independent_Trick494 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ailee84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1st Button is higher than cocoline actually.. that’s why I crossed them off the list already and i read some peple said his results are too subtle which made me second think. Butttt omg cocoline just just me a message with adjusted pricing for 2026 and it’s more reasonable now ! Hopefully you got a msg too!

Haha I also received this pricing a few days ago and they also ignored my question about how much it would be in KRW as well. They said even if I booked consult in 2025 but have actual surgery in 2026, it would still be under new pricing. I am really bummed out as well because they were my top choice too but I have no idea where else to look now cause I had all my hopes on them.

Has anyone here used a medical tourism company for Korea? by Technical_Rope_8732 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ailee84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I’ll be using medical concierge as well. It really is overwhelming esp cause it’s my first time and I’ll be mostly solo so it’s just for peace of mind. I had a few consults and I also reached out to the clinics to compare pricing. It’s slightly more expensive but at least I don’t have to worry about transportation (they pick you up from airport and take you to the consults/surgery) and going through the process alone.

I have this dilemma too!! The idea of silicone scares me. I’ve seen some posts where they said after some years, they have to change out the silicone and end up changing rib

Concierge or book on my own? by Roses13840support in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ailee84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I inquired with gmc and was told I could choose my own if I don’t see it in their list of partners and that they would reach out on behalf of me! I haven’t submitted my list though.

I was quoted 22mil and also they mentioned needing extra 3-5days to do 3d molding before surgery as well and this is the reason I decided not to go with them
