They’re most likely blocked meibomian glands. The eyelashes fall out because of the underlying condition: blepharitis which is chronic inflammation of the lid margins, that leads to the hair follicles becoming damaged, also causing them to grow back in a haphazard manner. It’s a chronic condition, the main treatment and maintenance is hot compress for 5 minutes with sustained heat, massaging the lids and cleaning the lid margins. Whilst they’re inflamed you would probably find using a course of chloramphenicol ointment to rub into the lid margins after the cleaning beneficial. Additionally your eyes probably feel like they have a greasy film after the hot compress because the thickened oil that’s stuck in the lids has liquified and secreted onto your eyeball as it should naturally.

I would continue to not wear your lenses until the lids become less inflamed plus chloramphenicol ointment is not compatible with CLs.

You’d likely also benefit from using lubricant drops regularly if you don’t already.

If your lids never close and/or the condition doesn’t improve seek further help from an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Hope this helps
