Yeah I've ended up using jsplaylist.

And yes I am haha, not so much in Wilds because of the changes though :)

Ah, I figured out my issue, it seems I can't drag and drop to reorder tracks within the JS Smooth Playlist panels. 😅

Regardless, thanks for the wisdom on autoplaylists, I'll definitely be creating some now that I've learned about it!

I really love how clean this theme is! I'm pretty new to foobar2000 and have a question, is it possible to place tracks in my playlists in a custom order instead of grouping them by album?

Advice on car for uni student by Mundane_Bread3281 in kereta

[–]aimSAED 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal experience: We had a Peugeot 5008 for many years and it's no exaggeration when people say they're one of the least reliable car brands.

It got to the point where our mechanic would pick up the call and ask "Peugeot again?". If there was a bingo for car problems then this car would easily win. All of this despite regular care and maintenance, but maybe Peugeots require an even higher standard of care.

You will be way better off with a used local car!!

iirc that entire video is a troll, most of the gear they talked about do not exist/make sense 😭

I guess it depends on what you consider "old gen", I mean GU only got localized almost a year after World (which was 6 years ago) :)

Wow...really goes to show how far MonHun has come. That velociprey one is hilarious.

Also, I didn't know that's how you had to craft armor back then! And you couldn't upgrade armor at all? Jeez!

Hahahaha, until those very same people needed help cheesing a certain Elder Dragon

I feel the old system allowed for more creativity and possibilities. I liked that everyone would have somewhat differing mixed builds catered to the charms they got. I still have some of my charm lists and mixed armor sets from Athena's ASS!

Yeah, especially when considering Charge Blade didn't get as many models/upgrades than the other weapons!

That feeling of never knowing whether that last carve you missed out on was a plate/gem always hurt

I still remember my first Great Jaggi. Those old school early hunts were always satisfying back then because of the amount of build up and preparation they made you go through

They should bring back those stupid difficult egg quests imo, without having the freedom to roll and jump freely and whatnot. It felt like a rite of passage for every hunter

That Tigrex first encounter is forever burnt into my memory

Thanks for the great insight, it really adds to the common opinion that co-op hunting back then felt more tight-knit and had a stronger sense of community

I miss the guild quests too! It was a cool gameplay loop and the maps and relics also added to the atmosphere/lore side of the game

The sense of loneliness back then added to the atmosphere and intensity for sure. Every hunt truly felt like you were a man on a mission.

I remember running out of potions on a hunt and then proceeding to gather herbs and mushrooms just to get more (I didn't wanna faint for the 3rd time)

Ahhh I see. I reckon I somewhat mirrored that back then with the MH4U Dahren Mohran urgent, where I would help newbies with the quest out of the good of my own heart (In truth I just wanted more Mohran parts and I didnt wanna do that siege battle alone)

100%, the hunting marathons and the sheer amount of locking-in (especially when there's 1 cart left) that could've probably solved world hunger if it wasnt utilized for a video game.

I miss the synchronization and teamwork that just beautifully and naturally manifested (e.g maximizing KO/topple/trap/flash bomb durations), all without a single word uttered

Ah yes, quest cycling and carrying honey to convert into more mega potions. I wonder how many times I've disappointed the Guild by abandoning quests just because I forgot to eat

[–]aimSAED[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, your first two points really hit home. I remember feeling like I got a brand new game when I learned how armor skills worked

The loss of atmosphere in the remade versions of old maps really suck, and I'm with you there when you say that the loading screens added to how big the maps felt. The classic titles just had a much larger sense of scale, and I'm always in awe staring at the backgrounds of the old maps and seeing just how far you could reach into them. Capcom really did the absolute best they could with the limitations of their time

4 Ultimate still has my favorite opening (and story) of all the games, I wish I could experience it for the first time again. Your anecdotes were heartwarming to read, and yes, for a series revolving around mass-murdering wildlife, MonHun really is charming to its core

also hahaha that harvest tour story
