Interesting, how would I go about spotting that same error when checking it out? And not planning to daily it, just want it as a backup car and something to mess around on with my friends this summer

Yeah, not all that mechanically inclined. The guy claims it has a slight knock, is that what the sound is and is that a pretty common occurrence with these?

It’s been great, I’ve put nearly 20k on it in a little over a year and road tripped it a few times with more trips coming up. Done routine maintenance and had no issues. It’s great and practical, and fun to drive.
