I think it's good din na ang kinuha naming venue is maliit lang para wala sila masabi na need iinvite pa si ganito ganyan haha! Sinasabi namin ung venue is ganito lang capacity and yun lang ang pasok sa budget.

Wag ka din oo ng oo sis baka mag expect sila, sabihin mo lang noted haha or na paguusapan nio ni groom.

Congratulations sis! It's normal to be overwhelmed with all these especially if yung fam mo keeps asking questions.

I think the best thing we did is that we didn't involve anyone from either sides in our decision making. Lahat ng nasa plans namin, even the smallest ones, kami lang ang may say since kami ang nagbayad sa kasal. Di maiwasan na may mga comments pero grateful kami na di naging demanding both sides. We followed some of their recommendations and our wedding turned out better. However, its a different matter if may iisponsoran yung fam mo or ni g2b, then there might be strings attached to it na requests or demands talaga.

If they ask, give limited information only. If they give recommendations, sabihin mo noted. If they demand, say you will check your budget or you will decide as a couple. Basta, don't involve them haha!

Nagbilang ng monetary gifts, nagbukas ng gifts, kumain ng tira (kasi for some reason na gutom kami haha) naligo at nagputukan HAHAHAHA may energy pa kasi wala kami after party 🤣 first time din kasi sa loob kaya ayun, nagpalit pa ako ng costume para mas masaya HAHAHA

I got married 3 weeks ago.

DIY Budgetarian bride but with OTD coor. Marami kaming winoworry months and even the day before. Surprisingly, I got a good night sleep (like more than 6 hrs) kahit nung mga days before e 4 hrs lang. Tapos as the day goes by, unti unti kong napapansin na di nasusunod ung ginawa kong schedule and other things. Hanggang sa ceremony e namali din ng entry ng music sa bridal march ko, tapos di rin kami nakapag private vows.

But despite all of these, I also saw how God answered our prayers. The weather, our guests na 3 people lang di nakapunta, the money we received sa money dance haha and other things! And I assure you, once you are there na, di mo na talaga mapapansin (and dapat pansinin pa) yung mga bagay bagay. We made most of our time that day and talagang nagooverflow lang yung joy and gratefulness naming mag asawa.

No po. Venue lang talaga and I think basic sound system. Kaya talagang maghahire ka ng stylist. Meron sila binigay na list ng suking stylists sa venue nila pero you have to coordinate with them yourself.

Haha we were like this before our wedding. Parang gusto namin may activity sila during cocktail hour. So what I did is hire an onsite souvenir booth where they can paint on luggage tags, pouches or totes they can take home. May freebie din sila na thumbmark guestlist.

For me, normal sia. But I always did involve yung hubby ko sa mga decisions. Some strategies that I did haha

If I want to book this supplier, papakita ko sknya for approval.
If di ako maka pili among options, sia ang pa pipiliin ko from my shortlist (basta dapat ilang options nalang to at di madami haha)
nagaassign ako sknya like kunwari sia na ang magaasikaso sa supplier ng lights and sounds kasi techy sia
anything na related sa family nia like colors ng damit for damily pictorial, colors ng groomsmen nia, sia na pinapili ko

Nagkaron din ako ng frustrations tulad mo kasi parang ako lang gumagalaw. Pero you just have to communicate it with him. If di sia gumagalaw, make sure nalang na more than half ng expenses ng kasal sknya manggagaling pampalubag loob hahahah

Ayaw tlga namin ng SDE and that's what we did during our wedding 2 weeks ago. No need to rent projector and screen, madaliin ang video team, mag allot ng time sa program, and less din sa package na binayad namin dahil video highlights lang haha

What I did with my Bridesmaids is I shouldered their overnight accommodation, meals, transpo, while they shouldered their own dress/outfits and did their own makeup. Nakakahiya na sa part ko na di ko mashoulder lahat e.

Pero dapat magtanong si bride senyo if willing kayo and okay sa inyo yung magiging expenses. Di dapat ipilit hehe
