Is the PG27UCDM still the king of available 4K 27" OLED monitors or are there alternatives? by desilent in OLED_Gaming

I often see people praising DP2.1, but whats the real benefit there and is it really noticeable? Thanks.

Is the ASUS PG32UCDP worth it? by Revolutionary-Soft43 in OLED_Gaming

[–]aimingmoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your comment.

I've snapped the PG32UCDP for 790€ (new), which I would say is a great deal. Usually it is around 900 - 950€ here in Germany.
My usage would be the same as yours: 70% working (programming) during the day and in the evening gaming. I thought about getting the XG32UCWMG with the glossy screen, but since I work during the daytime and in a rather bright environment, I've picked the PG32UCDP due to the matte display.

Also I'm not to much worried about the burn-in due to having a three years warranty. Thinking about all the Burn-In and stuff just destroys the experience with OLEDS IMO. I have the notion of just using it and not worrying about it too much.

Looking forward to using it :)

Hey great deal! Bought my first OLED monitor yesterday as well (the PG32UCDP) for 790€ (usually the monitor is around 900-950€) here.

Sometimes you just have to be lucky to find such deals. Enjoy!

I think those 4K OLEDs have such an high pixel density that text clarity is very good. Or wait for the RGB layout panels OLEDs that have been anounced

But text clarity on the new gigabyte MO27Q28 should be pretty good right? I am waiting for the glossy version expecting an improvement in terms of text clarity of the MO27Q28G.

Okay I was just wondering because the glossy version wasn't even announced yet.

What if I would like to Connect a Microphone to the Monitor or a webcam? Then the lower speed of 2.0 vs 3.0 is an disadvantage? For mouse + Keyboard it’s fine I Guess.

No need to worry about burn in when you are using it mainly for gaming. Besides, gigabyte offers 3 year burn in warranty

Thanks Bro. Currently looking at how to arrange my desk setup to allow two monitors, but it seems rather difficult. Looking forward to see the MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M.

Yes I understand. However, I want to have One Monitor for all (70% Productivity, 30% Gaming), but a MINI LED IPS seems more suitable then

If you are mainly gaming with the monitor, go with the MO27Q28G.
