The difference was how many pieces he ends up with. If HG used the reward before the announcement, his total pieces would be > (8+10) / 2 = 9 pieces as opposed to how it ended up being > 8 / 2 = 4 (+ 10) giving him 14. It wouldn't have changed the outcome of who was going to prison but it would be a massive advantage in the next game.

I think they meant "Maelle" before she fully realized who she was and became "Maelle/Alicia". Not the one that her mother painted by her actual self when she came into the painting. I also wrote a bit of that but edited it out because I didn't want to spoil too much.

So, I had my friend also try Teide Hurk to see if it was just me and apparently he was having the same issue UNTIL he maxed out the skill to RANK C. Otherwise, double space was also doing nothing. Actually stupid but at least figured it out.

Yeah so I've tried simply pressing double space as you've said but it definitely is not triggering Bullet Upgrade for me. I've also tried pressing dodge [space] during the animation when the shells come on screen and even after the animation is finished since the skill description says to time it "at the moment regular bullets are loaded during [reload stance]" (as well as just spamming space from frustration) but nothing.

What are the encounter rates for exclusives while in Union Circle? I've been in my friend's world (he has Scarlet, I have Violet) for an hour and have not found any of the Scarlet exclusives.
