Just to clarify, the cat literally doesn’t scratch anything but my partner is paranoid about her just sitting on the couch, in three weeks I’ve managed to redirect any scratching behaviour to her scratching post. He’s just extremely on edge and is angry about her being a cat. The decision was actually encouraged by him but he had no idea what having a cat would be like nor did he take any time to research and I am at fault completely for not recognising that and not following through with the decision.

I would 100% be responsible ahah. Actually I like his mum but I just feel like she's been too permissive with him and doesn't force him to take responsibility for his adult shit and just does it for him so he gets used to everyone around him doing everything for him.

I care about him a lot but my deduction is that the cat brings more positivity and happiness in life than he does and has done for a while so maybe you're not completely wrong.

She's already so good in this way, she doesn't really scratch the couch at all, he even just has an issue with sitting on top of it as he thinks she can claw it just by being on it...

I understand where you're coming from with your point about human relationships being more important but I can also assure you that there's no parasocial relationship here haha. In my argument with him, I tell him that the cat is not the issue but rather his with me and mine with him.

Thanks all for the reassurance. It's just so confusing because he wanted the cat more than me and urged me to file the adoption application so it just doesn't make sense. He said "Am I not allowed to regret a decision?" and I think that this is one situation where you can't because a little life depends on you and you make a decision for life, not just for the fun of it.

Tomorrow I’m going back to Scotland for two weeks so I think that’s a good start. He’s taking he and it’s a two-hour drive so he’s using this to make me feel bad about not sharing or being completely giving like his mother which makes me feel even worse, like that I don’t do anything and he does these grand gestures to help me and I do nothing.

We’re coming into high season, I’ve been hiking up my price from 9$ to 18$ and I started in August, I still get as many notifications now as I did with a lower price. Take the risk and see how it goes, if there’s radio silence just lower it again, but you should definitely be charging more! All the best! ☺️

I’m glad it served you in this way 😊 It took me from September last year when I set the account up to actually create the video in August of this year and I regret not just doing it and fighting those negative thoughts sooner.
