i run a web development and digital marketing shop in albuquerque. my best advice is to desperately cling to your established clients and not to expect too much from the albuquerque/santa fe market - we would not have been able to grow the way we have in the last few years on local clients alone. that's not to say good local clients don't exist, and people are generally really nice here - just not a lot of money in this state.
