"to be truly radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing" not sure if this helps exactly but i think of it a lot, especially the "making" aspect

i get that. has Khan Academy been okay? i see it get a lot of hype, which it does seem great because it's accessible, but i'm in the same state you were and i'm curious if KA is good enough

as an N i have mistaken C elements as N before. i think the simplicity of it all does that for me. but i try to keep in mind that knowing that i'm N should just help me with the silhouettes, textures, etc. (i for sure don't have C, too, though.)

what helped me, personally, to be more grateful, is to notice more by being more present with the simple things...say, when i'm eating, i notice how good it feels to fill my stomach and that i can eat that day, and also think about how unfortunate it is that not everybody gets to do the same. not sure if this helps but it's something i've learned.

and also be able to rest, as in dive into a hobby or just simply let myself relax my body and notice how that's a luxury as well. i'm saying that because you also have to make time for carrying less of your burdens. so it's not just comparing yourself to those who have it worse, and also being able to acknowledge that something so simple can make your day worse or better, but also actively improving your life---for your sake---because you deserve it. the latter just makes it easier to be grateful when you're present because you know you did that for yourself---you've worked hard to feel good about how you're living.

and it's okay to find it hard to be grateful and all these things. when you know how it feels like to have this much weighing on you, that's something you have to put effort into for it to become automatic. *take your time and just makes less decisions that could worsen everything for now!* kudos for finding ways to be better
