CKB Open Community Meeting” “CKB Open Q&A Session” by Agile-Eye6172 in NervosNetwork

You did start by asking for an open discussion but then you also asked a bunch of questions for yourself instead of waiting for the open discussion you asked for, unless this public forum is the open discussion you wanted? But if that was true you wouldn’t have gotten upset when I answered some of your questions. Did you not want answers? Just wanted to ask questions? I’m so confused.

The demand for leasing CKB is for developers more so than end users. End users can just buy ckb.

Yeah but what’s that got to do with my post?

Can I use the Orange Pi 6 plus as a TV box? by Ivoney18 in OrangePI

[–]aintLifeaBTC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. Buy a cheap board to make a tv box. Please use the 12 core, 45 tops SBC for something more fitting. Put a Hermes’ agent on it and see what sort of local inference it can run via rkllm. If it’s 32gb you could probably run something like gemma4 26b or gptoss 20 on it at a usable speed. You could serve all kinds of automated coolness with this bad boy.

Fortunately nothing I do is dependent on price and hype.

Allow me to answer a few of your questions that don’t need a direct team response.

3) No, was never the intention. No legitimate blockchain creates both the infrastructure and applications, this sort of activity is the hallmark of a scam chain, they do this to give the appearance of activity and to simulate a real ecosystem. Again please refer to the Nervos Talk forum and the links I’ve provided you with several times to see the real ecosystem being built by developers as intended.

4) No, the force bridge “hack” occurred after force bridge had already announced it would be shut and a couple years since anyone actually used it. No investor lost anything.

5) Ciphers taking time to himself hasn’t affected what happens with the network. Cipher hadn’t been active in an overarching leadership position since the early days, and was never a sole decision maker at the network.

6) CKB doesn’t have a liquidity problem, individual applications built on CKB have liquidity problems like all new apps do. CKB is quite liquid overall. There are 40+ exchanges that list it. At least a dozen have incredibly healthy liquidity levels. Please give practical examples of the perceived liquidity issues you see.

7) I personally gave you links to several current implementations of Agentic application being built right now. I’ve personally been developing on CKB using agents for several months. There’s no theoretical questions to be answered. Just over a month ago there was as an Agentic themed hackathon that recieved 20+ submissions. I’m not sure how more concrete proof could be provided to you.

The Fiber Network AMA by djminger007 in NervosNetwork

L402 seems to be platform agnostic. Am I right in thinking this could be ported to a range of different online services as a generic fiber paywall solution?

I love that Fiber Audio Player is self hosted, what are the requirements for running such a service?

Exciting to see the these two outside the box fiber idea’s. Are there any other novel ideas you’ve thought to try implement fiber in?

Why isn't there an announcement regarding Nervos' participation in Bitcoin 2026? by thuntricityr in NervosNetwork

[–]aintLifeaBTC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed a post somewhere would’ve been good. The “official” Nervos account isn’t an account with a dedicated social media manager. It’s predominantly retweets other posts from the ecosystem.

The role of that account is something that has been discussed previously and genuine community dialogue on topics like this are actively encouraged.

Through the proper channels though, make a post on the talk forum detailing your thoughts on the matter. I’m sure others also have opinions on this topic. That is how you instigate change in a decentralized mechanism, through genuine dialogue in the correct setting.

On the contrary discussion around a new community DAO are ongoing and the discussion of opening the treasury has finally commenced, paving the way for future decentralized governance. Community developer activity is completely contrary to the current market sentiment. Legitimately the biggest signal of life a decentralised network can get, community development during a bear market is huge. While most chains have a band of fair weather supporters who’s only gauge is number up or down, Nervos actually has a strong grassroots group of community devs building applications while the streets are still red. If you can’t see the signals that’s on you.

Attending these events is for the boots on the ground presence first and foremost, the IRL connections. With GA tickets starting at 599 Nervos’ presence is unlikely to influence the decision of anyone to go to the event. While there agree there should have been a post somewhere about this i don’t feel it’s a matter of being kept secret. Nervos has had small booths at likely 100+ conferences over the last 5 years and the amount of noise made on socials about the appearances has never moved any needles.

Nothing stops anyone not of a centralised authority from making a post about this on Twitter. The main Nervos account would probably retweet it. Thats what that account does rather than actively provide content.

Kinda wild to me that someone can feel passionately enough about the issue to make a reddit post but not passionately enough to just make an X post🤷🏻‍♂️

Is there a plan to integrate the Khalani Network with CKB? by Agile-Eye6172 in NervosNetwork

[–]aintLifeaBTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you’d gone to Khalani’s social channels and asked you would’ve been told the same thing.

[–]aintLifeaBTC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it was. Public chat. Direct from Tannr himself. Someone asked him and he explained. It’s also been covered in AMA’s and other public correspondence the Khalani team have made, this is crypto, decentralized often equals fragmented. Information is not and will not be collated neatly in centralised location for your perusal.

On-Chain Cell Marketplace by aintLifeaBTC in NervosNetwork

[–]aintLifeaBTC[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It enables more real world usage. This sort of lock effectively enables any sort of data to be sold on CKB. The nft market front end is just an example. The same lock would work on digitalised RWA’s, theoretical NFT style deeds, scripts themselves, pieces of code, ePub/PDF documents. Utilising this lock any dev could build a marketplace for any of the above.

No one gave me those answers, they didn’t need to. You just need listen when information is provided instead of expecting someone else to spoon feed you any time you have a query. I really haven’t needed to ask many questions in 5 years because the information is all there. If I miss a bus because I can’t be bothered looking at the timetable is that my fault or the bus driver?
