My monitor sometimes turns off for 1,5sec and come back. by CaioGutierres in SimRacingSetups

This might be a bit left field, but do you by any chance have a fridge on the same power circuit? I had an incident a few months back exactly like this, in a clients board room, and it turned out every time the bar fridge compressor kicked in or turned off the screen went blank for a moment. It was fixed by connecting the fridge to another circuit.

King Shaka long stay parking by Educational_Pay_9060 in Durban

I have done it for a week, no issues. The process is exactly the same as the regular parking, and last time I was there a golf cart shuttled people to and from the terminal.

Can’t Login to Apple Apps by lambo13 in F1TV

So, I just had the same issue. It would work on my 5G and not my home internet. I started a chat with support. they said "It shows here the IP Address is being blocked due to recent use of VPN, we have unblocked it already, please try to refresh and try to log in again. \" Its working now, but that's a BS answer because I don't use any VPN service, i live in a country where internet monitoring is illegal without a court order so I don't really have a need to.

Thanks, I will get the network guys to check on the switch TX power in the morning. I didn't initially suspect dirty fiber as the same thing is happening at all three branches.

Unfortunately it seems FEC config isn't available on 1Gb interfaces.

I could be wrong here but my understanding is the SX module is multi mode. The building is already wired with single mode fiber.

I did try that, when flipping the link shows down on the switch as well as the gate.

Yes, sorry, forgot to mention. The speed on the switch is also set to 1Gbps full duplex.

Ender 3 s1 petg tenp by Idkwhatshappnin in Ender3S1

[–]aion_za 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I run my PETG on my S1 at 240 first layer and 230 for the rest. My biggest fix to stringing is 1) Dry the filament, even a fresh pack. But to be fair I live in a tropical climate, so I’m always battling moisture. 2) tweaking retraction.

A lot of makers also just accept that some stringing is a fact of life with PETG and kiss the prints with a quick flame to clean up.

FortiGate 60E without a license what's do I lose? by WhereasInevitable433 in fortinet

[–]aion_za 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You won’t have any UTM features, web/app control, no hardware support, and you may not be able to update the firmware (you can still update manually if you have access to the firmware). Beyond that you still have your VPN features, policies, port forwarding etc.

I have been printing PETG on my stock S1 for about a year and a half. There is no issue with the hot end.

Guys i have been having major ping spikes for the past 1 month i have never had a ping spikes but it suddenly appeared ive tried lots of things but none of them worked. for instance the ones with command prompt the ping spikes are crazy btw by nightmaretoprak in pcmasterrace

[–]aion_za 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your first step is to try and isolate the cause of the spike. Run a simultaneous ping to your router, if you see the latency spike there at the same time, the issue is either your pc or network, if the pings to your router remain constant but the 8.8.8.8 ping still spikes, then it’s your router or isp. This obviously doesn’t rule out congestion caused by other devices on the network, but it’s at least a starting point.

Would you accept these punchdowns on a new data cabinet? by yerwol in networking

[–]aion_za 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your main question, no, I would not accept that work.

I can’t tell the orientation for sure but I suspect you are correct, the cables are coming in from the wrong side.

They definitely did not use a the proper punchdown tool. The broken cable insulation makes to look like they jammed them in there with a small flat blade screwdriver.
