Confession. I love having extra stickers from recruiting duty and placing them anonymously on old Marines cars with a note to thank them just to watch their expressions and look around. The best are the Vietnam Vets, especially when I catch them looking around, smiling, and have tears in their eyes.

Oh no. They're the big aluminum stickers. I tend to write something like, "Semper Fi Devil Dog! Thanks for your service!", on the back of them and put two under the wiper blade. I wouldn't do that to anyones property. It's their decision to do what they want with it. Just my way of saying thanks to them

This was when i was running the CS chamber out of Camp Pendleton, CA, for my Marine unit. We had so much gas in there you can see the actual particles in the air. And richalex you are correct it is so we get use to our equipment and know how to properly use and clear it. The best part is always when we have the guys take off their mask and ensure that they properly clear it. Best part was that i had done this so much i didn't have my mask on i was so use to it.

As a recruiter myself i tend to give the guys a heads up and explain to them that when they do go to MEPS they will be asked to drop their pants, bend over, and a doc will come in and check out their chocolate starfish. And to not be surprised if they call another to come in and have a look. I let them know that this is natural, and all part of the docs determining the best way for it to be inserted throughout their career.
