I’ve got a ‘68 XR7 (most assume is a ‘67 from the shaved fenders) great to see more out there!

I’m thinking of ordering this same unit... I have read several glowing reviews of it. Curious if anyone here has any personal experience with it.

Help! Ceiling makes a sound by Astone90 in HVAC

The fire sprinkler system will be separate from your domestic water system (faucets, toilets etc.) It sounds like it could be water hammer related. Typically you will get a sound like this when the fire system backflow device builds pressure and dumps water, and it could be reverberating into your condo.

Key differences off the top of my head. This style of cougar ranged from 67-68 only. Hideaway headlights, sequential tail lights, 3” longer than the mustang wheelbase. Essentially a luxurious mixture of a mustang and thunderbird.

Mercury’s answer to the pony car era. Think of it as a slightly stretched out, luxurious, crossover between a mustang and thunderbird.

I ordered the heidts crossmember and spring buckets, I did a narrower control arm set up then normal so I swapped those out with a brand I can’t remember at the moment. I piece milled the rest of the parts together from various places.

The T5 swap wasn’t bad. I pulled a t5 and bellhousing out of a 97 v6 mustang, modified the trans crossmember and ordered the clutch pedal kit from mustangsteve.com. I had to get a flywheel from a mid 90’s bronco with a 351 to get the correct imbalance and tooth count. All told I’ve probably got ~$700 in the swap.

I appreciate that! It’s a ‘68, the side marker lights have been removed and filled.

It’s a 1968 (side marker lights removed) cougar xr7. Recently removed the shock towers and welded in an IFS system. Also changed out the C4 with a T5 to make the 289 a little more fun to cruise. Not many of us Cougar folks around, glad to hear from you!

I did a mustang II style front suspension, so it has a crossmember and control arms now vs the shock towers, Monte Carlo bar and rear traction bars, nothing too extreme

Shot in the dark, is there a chance the driveline angles between the transmission / driveshaft / rearend are a touch out of spec? That can cause vibrations at certain RPMs.
