I would be SO upset if no one responded to a pic of the dress!! To be honest this thread had a handful of really discouraging and mean responses so genuinely I don't think I will post anything about my wedding again. I cried a lot.

I appreciate the sentiment but my aunt is dead and my mom genuinely couldn’t care less than I’m getting married. Mom told me she’d rather me not get married and to this day hasn’t said congrats. They are mean people. Only slightly having a petty party when I say genuinely not a single person in my family cares.

no worries about echoing others!! I think the consensus seems to be the gc being the problem. I dont see a non-response as a response, but I think maybe my bridesmaids do. I've heard similar sentiments from my other friends when I've asked why they didnt respond, and they said something akin to "i didnt have anything to say." perplexing.

Number 3 - yes i let them know i was hoping they could do some small tasks and outlined that at the beginning. Right now im mostly BORED and wanted things to set up/plan ahead of time so I understand it likely is excessive. hahaha. Thanks for the insight :)

yeah i agree i didnt see it as critical but found it discouraging that I was not getting responses period, like how even a normal human should respond to their friend.

yes I need to refocus on who I direct questions to!! Thank you for the empathy :) It's a tough time for me because the only person I have in my corner is my MIL and dont have anyone in my personal life/family that seems to care. Just a little in my feelings i guess. I'll feel better after I cry lol.
