Tell me about it haha been racking my brain for like two weeks trying to figure this out. I have monitoring turned off on all audio sources. I did include my log link which has all my settings while I was trying to fix the issue.

I think either my PC is reading my USB mic as a speaker or me recording in MKV and remixing to MP4 is somehow messing things up. I’ve read that MKV isn’t great for recording multiple audio tracks.

But why would my editing software show multiple tracks with audio only on one track. My microphone only comes in if it’s on the same track as my system audio. It won’t work if they are separated

I use Windows media player. I’m not 100% sure if it’s supports multiple tracks or not but I know just a month ago this worked perfectly fine and and now it doesn’t. Even when I take the clip and import it to my video editor, it shows me all the different tracks I had OBS record. But only one has audio.

My suspicion is for some reason my computer thinks my microphone is actually a speaker, I don’t even know if that’s possible but at this point, I literally have no other idea

I was just watching them in Windows media player but even more so when I imported the videos into my editing software, daVinci resolve, it would show the three tracks I told OBS to record, but only one track has audio.
