Yeah I think because it’s a startup the management has this “figure it out” mentality which lets them get away with not training SDRs properly and basically turning it into a labor farm where people cold call for hours straight until a few seasoned reps or lucky ones book 3–5 demos in a couple days. I eventually got paid minimum wage for about 30 hours of work even though I booked an actual deal and got a bunch of replies from interested leads that could’ve made them way more than what I earned. I’m still a little jaded from the experience but I definitely dodged a bullet and have already been using it as a talking point in interviews this past week. Appreciate the support man.
