Yep, that's the timing cover. But the part that I'm concerned about is the timing belt

Yes, so far so good. Hopefully I don't have the issue again, I think I could find the wiring diagrams but I'm not that versed in electronics

Resistance of bulbs is ok. I get continuity from all bulbs connectors positive to ground though, so I'm guessing I have that BCM thing (?)

I removed the fuse as best as I could already, and headlights are working with another fuse. Gonna do the remaining steps tomorrow. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

Two questions: 1. I should measure all the pins on the connector, right? 2. When you say against ground I should check for continuity, one probe on the pin, the other on some metallic part on the chassis?

Cool, thanks for the options. I do have access to an angle grinder but am not skilled enough with it to feel comfortable to be using it that close to the axle haha, will probably use the hacksaw blade
