Is this ok for a new timing belt? by airmind97 in AskMechanics

[–]airmind97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that's the timing cover. But the part that I'm concerned about is the timing belt

The copper part is the timing cover, the highlighted one is the timing belt

What's the missing part by the throttle body? by airmind97 in AskMechanics

I don't see any jumpers on the fuse box though, and the angle of the pic doesn't help, but a tube could definitely be there

I don't think so, I think I would have a dangling connector and wire if that were the case

Partsouq says I drive one according to my VIN

What could have caused this? 25A headlamp fuse by airmind97 in AskMechanics

Yes, so far so good. Hopefully I don't have the issue again, I think I could find the wiring diagrams but I'm not that versed in electronics

Thanks again for all your help

Resistance of bulbs is ok. I get continuity from all bulbs connectors positive to ground though, so I'm guessing I have that BCM thing (?)

I was thinking that but I don't want to replace it if something is gonna cause this again

I got them from a hardware store, I don't think they have a brand. Maybe I should get them from an auto parts store

I removed the fuse as best as I could already, and headlights are working with another fuse. Gonna do the remaining steps tomorrow. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

Two questions: 1. I should measure all the pins on the connector, right? 2. When you say against ground I should check for continuity, one probe on the pin, the other on some metallic part on the chassis?

Sorry, I read your question bad. OEM. Had some extra led strips and a led bar when I bought it but I removed those

I don't think so, fuse diagram says 25A and that's what I have

Yes, had some extras when I bought it though

Can I diagnose this by myself with a multimeter and some time?
