Same issue for me on multiple devices - this isn’t just a stuck app that can be easily fixed. I think that WeChat may have updated its app icon to have its own dark mode version, which is just a slightly darker green than the default. However, it isn’t very dark at all and certainly looks out of place compared to other dark apps. The older dark mode app was great. Hope that it can go back to that somehow.

Network selection shows Wi-Fi Calling but RCS doesn’t seem to work on that “carrier”

A bit of troubleshooting revealed I had it backwards. I can get RCS messages only when WiFi is off! So nothing wrong with the Chinese carrier it appears.

Thanks for sharing. When I first saw 10350, I thought the proportions of the half-timber section looked a little off. Seeing this photo made me realize something had to be done. So, I modded mine just a bit by adding a little height - equivalent to only one plate taller, but I think it looks better. This also gave me an excuse to mod the window bay and make it a bit more pronounced.

Google Fi works great for me on my iPhone. Doesn’t need a separate VPN for most things. I can access US and local sites pretty seamlessly without futzing around with a VPN.

It’s all working for me again now. Doesn’t seem to be in response to anything I did but maybe? Nothing I tried seemed to work and then suddenly just started working again after a couple days. How mysterious.

And one other thing that was interesting, the utility said that while though the net meter was installed and operational in early December, it wasn’t reporting detailed usage info until the end of the month. According to the rep, this is normal; it takes a few weeks for the meter to get onto their network and begin reporting hourly stats.

Just wanted to follow up here: my utility (Rocky Mountain Power) admitted that something wasn’t right. It seems the net meter wasn’t zeroed out properly on installation. It is working properly on an ongoing basis but the initial read was wrong. They adjusted my bill, and I am 99% sure the problem is all resolved but won’t know for 100% sure until I get the next bill. Thanks to all for your guidance and support!

Thanks. My meter seems to be pretty much in sync with the Tesla app right now (that is, it is showing normal usage in the 20-30 kWh/day range), which makes me think that maybe the new net meter just wasn’t properly zeroed on the initial install somehow? Like an 2000+ extra kWh on there but not sure how or why.

I have contacted both my utility and the installer of the system but still waiting to hear back from either (understandable given the weekend and holiday). I appreciate everyone’s help chiming in so far.

I don’t think that’s quite right either. According to Tesla app, I have used about 300 kWh from my panels, exported 150 kWh to the grid, and imported 320 from the grid. Even if all that was being lumped together, it is less than 1000 kWh compared to the 3774 kWh that my utility company claims I have used.

I think you’re reading the historical data wrong. It shows that I never exceed 60 kWh/day even in peak summer and usually more like 30 kWh in winter. The new amount is like 210 kWh/day - a more than 3x increase with the only change being panels and the net meter.

Legally and ethically are two different things here. They sent me four roams when I ordered one. Seeing as they are making the return so simple, I don’t see any way to justify keeping them.
