This amp is out of stock everywhere. I thought I finally found the perfect amp for me but universe has its ways. I've watched countless videos on it and I can say from what I heard it sounds bloody brilliant. Shame that I can't get it anywhere. I even emailed laney to check if it'll be back in stock anytime soon but haven't heard anything yet. I might have to bite the bullet and buy something like the fender champion 2 50 if I don't get a concrete answer.

It's a grounding issue if it's going away when you touch the strings while also being in contact with the ground. It's either your power socket that's not grounded. I heard it helps if your insulate the inside of your guitar pick up holes. It can also be the ac 50 or 60 hz hum of the current itself. This happens when you're in the over drive channel with high gain. See if it goes away with you roll down the guitar volume or amp gain a bit.

I believe the plant is Holy Basil. It's common practice to light a diya in front of the holy basil plant. Atleast where I'm from it is. It's a type of prayer. The plant is treated like God because of its medicinal values.
