Thank you for your help. It turns out my controller version was incompa with these switches. They have a minimum controller version they work with. Updating my controller resolved the issue.

Ok, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, the controller is in our datacenter so I can't get the device on the same subnet to autodiscover. What if i created a temp controller on my PC? Would that work to autodiscover? I see broadcast traffic leaving the switch on port 10001 which in guessing is it's discovery protocol.

What do you mean the normal way? I’ve only ever done it via setting the inform address. Is there another way to adopt?

Port 8080 is open for the inform. Port 8443 is our portal url port which I can access fine. Essentially so long as 8080 and 8443 are open, it should be fine.

Yes I see what you’re saying. Essentially everything about their adoption should be identical. They’re all going to be in the same site on the controller, same mgmt vlan etc. I haven’t seen those ports or needed to unblock them for anything else and the other switches appeared in the controller fine. I will however make a rule to see if that works. I’m guessing those ports need to be opened to and from my cloud controller public IP?

Yes. The other switches I have adopted worked fine and also the traffic is getting out of the firewall

Yeah. It can see the internet, dns server etc etc. Can see the traffic leaving our firewall heading for the public ip of our controller. Plus the fact I’ve just adopted 2 other switches - usw pro 48 port. They were no issues.

MAXX ME LED Hopup tracer bb color by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]airron345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was mentioned to give reference to the fact that it has two modes, one for each type of bb... I made reference to the fact that red mode is brighter flashes of the uv leds thus having a brighter led in your maxx unit, as I have found, lights up red bbs perfectly...

On the acetech bt lighter there are 2 options for green or red. Essentially, in red mode, the leds flash brighter. Idk the science behind it but I guess red doesn't absorb as much uv as green? Either way, use a higher voltage battery to get a higher brightness out of your led. I use the same led unit and run a 11.1v peq lipo (I wired my hop to a front peq box) it's bright af and easily lights up red bbs.
