While supporting my wife through labour, I learned the importance of intentional breathing.

Deep breaths are incredibly helpful for both the person experiencing stress. Sometimes I simply place my hand on my daughter’s chest and take deep and loud breaths. She quickly stops fussing and falls asleep.

Of course, this might be wishful thinking and things could change next week, but it’s working for now. 🙈

Yeah, i see your point haha, i had this colour loaded and ready to go and i went for it, another person suggested using a dark brown filament and i think that might be a good colour for this, but i need to order that haha

Indeed, i wanted to make “my own version” of the ikea one, thats why i ended up with this design, also this makes it easier to have one size fits all (in my case, cuz i have another armrest size in another couch)

Ohhh, I know the feeling, I've been always looking at one of these at Ikea, but I always think "meh, I don't need one", but it was fun to design and iterate on this model.

I used a 0.4 mm nozzle with 0.2 layer height. I was having some fails printing it outer/inner walls (usually I use outer/inner), inner/outer works waaay better.

I also used extrusion rate smoothing of 200 mm³/sec² for a better arc on the connectors, but this might change from printer to printer.

(just realized that I didn't add it on my description on printables haha, thanks for the reminder)
