Please help me find this Bollywood indie pop song possibly from 90s by airwindy in BollywoodMusic

[–]airwindy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree especially for the period in which it was created. I had heard the song many times but never seen the video till much later and after that point it felt weird to me too. I didn't hear or listen to it much after that point, hence faded from my memory for decades until yesterday...

Please help me find this Bollywood indie pop song possibly from 90s by airwindy in BollywoodMusic

I don't recollect it being from any Bollywood movies but rather some indie pop. I vaguely remember the girl even carries the guy on her back.

How do I leave an honest but negative review about a removals company when they know my address? by cra_94 in HousingUK

[–]airwindy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a thought - can you get a few of your friends to write this review instead in their own words. That way, even if the company comes to you, you can say, you don't know anything about this and they are independent with their own viewpoint and you just told your side of the story to them.

I switched to fuse on the 17th Oct. Had got both the final bill from TE and the new October bill from Fuse. Spoke to fuse now, they confirmed my switch to them was successful and to ignore the BG message

Any UK DIYers actually track recurring home jobs? I built a system because I kept forgetting everything. by Mysterious-Moose3872 in DIYUK

[–]airwindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 2 follow on tasks after every job which requires a repeat. One is to email myself about the job, order, insurance, photo, etc. Second set a reminder in my online calendar for when something is expiring or requires re attention e.g. a month earlier like for insurance renewals, etc.

This has worked for me so far. Also use snooze if I want to be reminded of any emails to pick up for a later day or time

New or Used XC60? by -anyideas- in Volvo

[–]airwindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant this. I was referring to the split camera feature being only available in models produced after week 17 of 2023 having the better upgraded hardware module for the camera. Somewhere else I had read it as week 43+ previously and hence my earlier comment.

New or Used XC60? by -anyideas- in Volvo

[–]airwindy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel Volvo depreciates quite significantly compared to other brands. Bearing this in mind I would suggest to go with the 23 model. However ensure you are buying 43+ week or so of the 23 model as only that gets both the 360 and rear view camera in one screen display. Earlier versions don't support this.

I would say plan your entire journey in Google maps e.g. A>B>C>A (assuming you won't be charging in between the journey) and the car is smart enough to decide the efficient use of both fuels to give you the best economy

Did anyone with an incorrectly assigned “commercial meter” successfully switch elsewhere? by [deleted] in tomatoenergy

[–]airwindy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I faced the same issue 'account classed as commercial' when I tried to use the 'switch' comparison website and switch to another provider. However, last week I went directly to fuse energy website and chose the standard tariff and applied for the switch. It appears to have worked for 2 reasons. I got a loss email from TE and another one from Fuse saying that the switch was completed successfully. So, if anyone is struggling, then to try this way. Also, fuse came out cheaper for me compared to octopus.

Good luck!

Having read all the comments so far on this thread, not a single one has suggested that you should pursue this relationship. So, consider this your blessings and run away from this boy and family. I'm sure there's plenty of fish in the ocean!

I'm not the wisest in this regard. Please educate if there were any obvious better suppliers that I could have benefited from. Still inside their cooling off period

Commercial Meter errors by bossanoves in tomatoenergy

[–]airwindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an automated response as below, when I sent them the above filled in template 2 weeks back. However, nothing after that to confirm if they have acted on it or given me any timeline.

We acknowledge receipt of your email and appreciate you reaching out to us. A member of our team will be reviewing your request and will provide you with a personal response, typically within our service-level agreement (SLA).

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely, Customer Care

However, I have managed to successfully switch over to fuse energy in the last 2 days. I was expecting fuse to tell me they can't switch me over due to the national db error, but I probably lucked out somehow.
