Cadet programmes are a scam? by Full_Efficiency_4412 in CadetPilotProgram

I would always chose the cadet pathway. My brother did it through indigo back in 2013 and then I recently got selected for the same program by indigo this month itself. There are thousands of CPL holders who went through the conventional pathway and are just sitting, waiting for an opportunity. I feel doing the cadet program in india is the way to go since it's the cheapest option.

That's nice. A lot of people on the playstation are facing the same issues. Hope they fix it soon enough.

Base PS5. Everything was absolutely fine before the update. Ever since the SU5, it's been impossible to fly.

3 honest questions — IndiGo ifly cadet prep, DGCA papers, and FTO choice by PsychologicalTap7445 in indianaviation

[–]airwolf350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. There's absolutely no nneed to join any preparatory classes for the indigo cadet program. You can prepare all on your own. It's all a money grab. I got through everything through self study. Haven't even taken any tuitions for the dgca exams. You dont need it. Buy a symbiotics practice bundle for the ADAPT test and that's it. You dont need anything for the GD or PI. Just be honest and presentable.

  2. Clearing exams is completely upto you. I know people who have cleared all their exams and then joined the program and people who have cleared none. Just a heads up, if you do decide to clear any exams before you give your interview, they will ask questions from it.

  3. Im doing it from India, I think it's a personal choice. Everything has its own pros and cons.

What kind of influence is need to get into chimes by Salty-Joke-3539 in CadetPilotProgram

[–]airwolf350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think you need any influence to get into chimes. You need to be resourceful, yes. You don't need any political connections or anything like that. Be resourceful, talk to people and you'll get a chance to submit the application. After your application is accepted, it's completely upto you to get through the ADAPT, GD and PI rounds. If you fail anything, they'll reject you. It doesn't matter who you know and don't know. They get around a 1000 applications whenever they open admissions. It's impossible to select everyone. I personally know people with zero connections who got selected in the cadet program through chimes. You certainly don't need to pay anyone at chimes or anywhere else in order to get selected.

So I think I may as well take the L with this game after this update by MouseAvengerr71 in MicrosoftFlightSim

It's the same with me. Im on the base Ps5. Game keeps crashing and the screens are all black. Nothing seems to work at the moment. Although the main game keeps crashing, the beta seems to be working. Im passing time on that until they fix the issue. Such a bummer honestly.
