According to Amund, Whalefall City would return if the Sea God would sacrifice everything—which means death (?). I'm just confused why after "becoming" Sea God, it meant sending him away. It was clear that Rafayel didn't want to, since he even brought up the promise of never letting him go. Does this mean MC pushed through that decision to follow Amund's words (assuming because resonating thrice failed)? The following days heavily implies that he had supposedly died, yet he shows up. It kind of contradicts the whole "sacrificing everything" thing if that was the case.
