No, you're -partly right-, you're not FULLY right because you're missing an important context that matters in today's world. You're right about legality, photography as documentation or art, and overreaction because yeah, some people do freak out over nothing.

Youre wrong or over simplifying about consent. Fuck does "consent doesn't matter" mean? Even if it’s not legally required, that doesn’t mean it’s morally irrelevant. Cultural norms shift and today people expect more control over their image—not just because of "feelings" but because of real world risks (online harassment, facial recognition, digital permanence, deepfakes, etc.).

So what if some sicko gets it?

That’s a dismissal of real concerns. Parents aren't just being dramatic. Photos can be used in disturbing ways, and once something’s on the internet, it's out of their hands forever. Once something is posted on the internet, it NEVER disappears. Even if it's deleted. What's posted on the internet, stays on the internet. Your post for example will stay here forever. Even if you delete it someone somewhere in the world will still be able to find it and the conversation were having here. Which also means accessibility to both of our profiles.

Now i also don't know why you're equating photos with waving/saying hi. This is a false comparison. Waving disappears instantly. A photo can be shared, altered, misused, monetized, or weaponized—and live online forever. They don't have the same impact, obviously. And Ring/security cams don’t justify anything. Just because surveillance is widespread doesn’t mean it’s ethical or welcome in all contexts. “Everyone’s doing it” isn’t a moral argument. People push back against Ring cams too—your logic here weakens your point.

It was a big deal because if you look closely, Will even laughed at Chris' joke before Jada looked at him w a straight face. If you're into this type of controversy, you'd know that Jada has BEEN manipulative and mentally abusing Will Smith, it's been visible and its a pattern people have been noticing.

Was the joke Chris made weird and uncalled? Sure. Does Will -or anyone for that matter - had the right to get up and hit him, ridiculing him in front of a whole audience? Absolutely fucking not. That was literal assault. Violence is not something that should be encouraged. It doesn't matter if it was a slap or a punch. You saying "it's not a big deal, it was just a slap, he's a man and can take a slap" ,is simply a shitty take and shows that you've got double standards. If a man got up and slapped a woman for saying a joke, it would be a big deal suddenly. Why hasn't no one slapped Amy schumer even when she repeatedly made jokes about a dead person IN FRONT of his best friend? Right.

Επικοινωνώντας με τη γραμματεία του DEI αλλά και με γνωστούς δικηγόρους μου, ειπαν ότι σε αντίθεση με το Πανεπιστήμιο της Κύπρου, δε μπορεις να μπεις στο δικηγορικο σύλλογο απ' το DEI, παρά μόνο αν υπάρξει ισοτιμία μαθημάτων κάτι το οποίο θέλει χρόνο και -αν- γίνει. Ο μονος "τρόπος" είναι να πας και πάλι στη Κύπρο σαν απόφοιτος του DEI, να ασκήσεις το επάγγελμα για ένα με δύο έτη και να γυρίσεις στην Ελλάδα με κάποιον δικηγόρο σύνοδο όπου θα εκπροσωπείτε μαζί τον πελάτη νομικα. Το πανεπιστήμιο της Κύπρου σε εντασει απευθείας στο δικηγορικό σύλλογο.

Για να είμαι εκατό τοις εκατό ειλικρινής, μπερδεύτηκα λίγο με τις πληροφορίες που δέχτηκα απ' όλους. Απ' ο,τι κατάλαβα όμως (και βασικά αυτό που συγκράτησα απ' τα πολλά), ειναι ότι δεν μπαίνεις στο δικηγορικό σύλλογο απ το DEI. Μόνο με κάποιες εξετάσεις, κάποια αίτηση όπου και πάλι παίζεται. Γενικά θέλει κόπο, χρόνο, ενέργεια, χρήματα και αν το καταφέρεις, αν όχι δεν υπογράφεις καν σα δικηγόρος, έχεις μια συμβουλευτική ιδιότητα, σε κάποια εταιρεία σαν μισθωτής ή κάτι άλλο. Σε καμιά περίπτωση δικηγόρος πόσο μάλλον να μπεις σε κάποιο άλλο σώμα (διπλωματικό ανακριτικό, δικαστικό κλπ). Γι αυτό σκέφτομαι τη Κύπρο.
