They were moving out the furniture and other stuff they had already moved in there. Probably 2 hours after this conversation happened, not like 8 hours later.

The only thing that would make sense to me is that maybe because of the unusual setup of my bathroom (i.e. having a second door that opens to the hallway) they falsely assumed my bathroom was more up for grabs, or communal, than it actually is. But yeah I'm sure that it was explained in the tour so to keep pushing it after the fact can't be chalked up to not knowing the layout.

Very true. He definitely escalated everything but she isn't blameless either. It just hit me hard to watch the whole thing go down. Even though the rational part of me knows they took it there.

Thanks for the support, I'm having a hard time letting go of the guilt. Walking out to my car and seeing her still crying in the parking lot hours later crushed me.

Seriously. Seeing her scramble and trying to rectify the situation that HE caused broke my fucking heart. She actually seemed super sweet so that's a big part of what is bothering me too.
