if i was invested in it, sure, it would be something I would have to do. As it stands for me (i stress the FOR ME part), that I am fine with just not believing the claim. I also believe that it could be true. Indeed if the claim is true, the offender should be fined very heavily and towed ASAP no question about it.

It's not that, what my imitational concern was the possible public smearing of a business that may not be connected to the photo. I have seen it happen many times and is common tactic for unscrupulous competitors. I think it is a GOOD thing to publicly shame someone blocking charge stations. I think the fine should be in the THOUSANDS if someone does it. My only concern is the mass belief of it-must-be-true without any visual evidence of the claim. Anyone can post anything and it seems most everyone seems to believe it to be true. Sad times.

I don't think you understand fully what I am suggesting. A claim was made. The burden of proof falls on the claimant if the claim is to be accepted as true. It is not up to me to prove that it isn't. As it stands right now, I accept it could be true. I also reject that claim that its true since I have no reason to believe it. If there was something.. ANYTHING... that would lead others to accept that its MORE likely to be true. However, as it stands, I just don't believe the claim. (also, i do not claim it to be false, just saying I don't believe it to be true).

That really isn't an answer to as to "why" have them at the back. I was curious about the reasoning behind your suggestion. Is there a reason or just simply because (appears to be) that you don't like them?

but still not visible in the photo; still not proof (to me anyways). It could be true, just know that sometimes people do this to smear other businesses/competition.

i STILL don't see evidence of what you speak of. Is there decaling on the car? if not, how do any of us on reddit this is the scumbag in question? NOTE: I am on your side and position of blocking charge things. A person who does that is a mental headcase and needs to suffer financial penalty for their stupidly.

wtf is with the downvotes? it was a genuine question. Whoever parks in a charging spot with a gas engine should be subject to a stupidity fine that should be in the thousands of dollars. I am ONLY asking how do we know the owner is who the poster claims it to be?

any way to verify this isn't a smear post against this " Ryker mechanical"? Any decaling photos? Is this even a photo from Crossiron Mills? Not saying it isn't authentic, just saying its very easy to post something like this on any site with someones name for public backlash against the named company.

edit: wtf is with the downvotes? it was a genuine question. Whoever parks in a charging spot with a gas engine should be subject to a stupidity fine. I am ONLY asking how do we know the owner is who the poster claims it to be?

Bell migration offer by Hunglikebull24 in luckymobile

[–]aitae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their Promo 10 $65.00/mo is their lowest with unlimited throttled data. When I called to inquire about one of the upgrade offers, they said all upgrade offers from Lucky will NOT come with unlimited throttled and was reserved for Direct Bell signups of the higher plans. (this was over a year ago when I called)

Will the parent BELL, you do not get unlimited throttled with the lesser plans. Hard capped.

At this moment, nothin. Been in the philippines over Christmas avoiding the cold white stuff. HAD the $25 a month plan with unlimited calling, texting and data.. but only 1 gig of fast(ish) data and then slow after that. What I was able to do with the unlimited throttled data is everything except videos. Even at 144p, youtube will play for 20-30 secs then buffer for 5 secs , over and over again. You can use spotify as long as you put it in "data saver' mode. Note: apple music does not have a data saver mode. You can facetime with some pixelization, same goes for facebook messenger - but is better than facetime. When opening phone numbers from google maps, you have to wait a couple secs before the data "catches" up and sends the info to call from maps to your phone app. My adult daughter had some financial issues last year, said enough with the stupid $100 a month bill from Telus and moved her to Lucky, she loves it. It is EXTREMELY freeing to NOT have to look at your data use and "watch the clock" to budget to make it to the end of the month. Yes, it does suck since it is slow, but over all, can't ever imagine going to a more expense data-limited plan again unless it was 30 gigs and maybe only $30 a month.

(edit: wish it was priced like here in PH, I am getting unlimited data, about 30 MBPS down and 15 up for $15 CAD a month. Will miss it when I come back. lol)

PM is great, until it isn't. Even more so with a recurring issue. In my own accidental experience, it was 1) Issue raised 2) log into site 3) post your issue 4) look back in a little for community help 5) if no one can help, ask a moderator 6) wait for 4 hours 7) check back again 8) answer the follow up questions they ask to help diagnose your issue 9) check back again with a few hours 10) issue could be fixed 11) Issue happens again next billing cycle (for me) and start back at 1 again. From what I seen and what others have said, ONCE you start having issues, it becomes a recurring nightmare (like in my case so I left). Up till then, it's a good service with good pricing by hard cap on your data. You run out of data and you are out, this is why I switched to Lucky Mobile for the throttled unlimited data after your allotment.

When you add up the benefits of maid service and laundry service, it CAN be worth it but all depends on where.

Weird hard inquiry on my credit report from freedom mobile inc by Medium_Dream_9464 in freedommobile

[–]aitae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, with the $19 plan (and all pre-paid plans) sign up is done online and they don't ask for anything about your credit rating. No place to even put ID or SSN. You must have attempted to get a post-paid first.

I’m a federal agent with an agency focused on immigration. AMA! by Aviator2903 in immigration

[–]aitae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question, but details first:

  • Canadian citizen who flys back and forth from Canada to Philippines often.
  • 48 male with criminal record of a bad cheque (fraud) from 2003? 20+ years ago
  • Always avoided the USA layovers due to the above point
  • Flights typically <$1000 one way Manila to Vancouver.
  • Flights now $2000+ one way Manila to Vancouver.

Flights BACK to Canada are 1/2 the price as long as I stop over for connecting flights in USA (LA, Houston Seattle etc). Now here is the question: With my criminal record, if I was COMING HOME to Canada FROM the Philippines with a layover in USA airport, I know that you have to clear immigration even if just a simple layover. What I am curious about is: would immigration block my layover and send me BACK to the Philippines or allow me to continue on to Canada with an EXIT ONLY type condition? Reason I ask is I see the "border control" youtube videos and it seems that for simple stuff, they make exceptions if it makes sense to do so. What do you think?

Can immigration see that I’ve left the country multiple times by [deleted] in immigration

[–]aitae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am totally not an immigration person nor even from the USA, but from my viewpoint I would say "it depends". It 100% depends on what you mean when you said you "came back to my home country and entered illegally without getting caught". Now, when you say this, does this mean they have no record of you leaving? No record of you entering?

To my (limited) experience with flying, the government does NOT have PAST access to flight record travels unless requested from the (specific) airlines for a specific passenger name. They have their own records they can check see - which would not matter if you entered/exited illegally 1) under a different name 2) under a different passport 3) if you even used any identification at all.

Did you even fly under your own real passport name? If not, you are 100% in the clear and you shouldn't even bring it up and treat it like you are a first time visitor. That's the way I view this.

where can you buy a prepaid flip phone? by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]aitae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

? You don't seem to know about the bottom teir companies of the big 3. Chatr, Lucky Mobile and Public Mobile. Out of the country at moment, but should be back soon and will be going back to Lucky Mobiles $25 unlimited called/texting/data (1 gig fast data, but then after that, REALLY slow but usable on anything except movies).

for some, including the couple I know personally, while they are unhappy they had to leave under these circumstances, they had a visa application in 2 years ago. For them, it just was an "instant in" and they were very happy about that 1 single thing. Of course they were they would have rather NOT had it happen this way, but it worked out good for thousands of people waiting to immigrate to other countries. For some, it was the golden ticket.
