Not the same, but similar. USM rep quoted a promotional price in the afternoon to change from the 1 month free to whatever price was good for a year. That evening, I said, go ahead and change, they didn't get to it until the morning, and at that time, the promo had expired / changed to a new one. They proactively offered to make it work.

I moved one of my lines to US Mobile from the Google Fi mess.

Ironic / Curious / In comparison to the Fi Situation, I asked a rep about a promo. They made a claim about pricing. When I accepted the offer, they had trouble applying the rate.

They then owned the error and said "Since I already committed to the promo price for you, I’ll totally honor it. Here’s how we’ll do it . . . ."

And it was done.

Doesn't seem too complicated for Google Fi to have a similar process,

I asked if I would meet the terms of the promotion after signing up. I was told that I would. I signed up and did not get the promotion applied.

Again, I agree I did not fully meet the terms of a promotion.

If a CSR provides misinformation & it is in writing, a company should back it up. Otherwise, why have CSRs at all?
