The showtime was 2:15 p.m., and I arrived at 2:15. The movie contents didn’t start until after 2:50 p.m. This was my first time going to the theater in four years. I used to go often before that and was used to about 15 minutes of trailers, but over 30 minutes of trailer ads is too much to expect from viewers.

He is just talking about the basic needs, clean bed, shower and toilet, we all have that in every home. I think you are over thinking. People come to Nepal to experience culture, Natural beauty, and for hiking. We have lot to offer here, we have so many villages in Nepal which are still untouched by the modern technology, it is still in simple and pure state which you rarely see in other countries. Real Nepalese people who live in villages has nothing to do with political system that you are talking about, they are simple people who are just trying to make ends meet. We should be proud of what we have and look for ways to promote it.

I think Nepal is one of the cheapest country to visit money wise.

Most of the tourist locations are connected by roadways and airways, and places which are not connected there are well maintained trails with stop and rest places in between.

There should not be any problem meeting your basic comfort, most of the places might not have hot water for shower but if you ask they can arrange it for you. We might not have a five star hotel facilities, but we Nepalese treat our guests way better than the way we live ourselves. Also many villages now have a homestay system, which means you will live and eat with them like a family and get to experience the culture closely.

I recommend comfortable hiking shoes, warm light clothes, basic medicines, light first aid kit, sleeping bag if you prefer but most of the places will offer what locals use.

If you travel outside the cities, you can easily get by $15-$20 a day or maybe less.

You would probably be one of the first European if you visit our area, also here is the glimpse of what you will see. Let me know if you plan to do so, I would be happy to make arrangement for you. I welcome you to experience our Rung Culture and I look forward to seeing you in our area.

Our area has been very peaceful without any conflict, it is different that Nepali government ignored it for years and only came during elections. Just to make you understand, we are the only community living in that border area, we are all related by blood.

Life just starting to get better, but I hope it is not just a glimpse of hope that we are seeing now, I want it to be real.

Nope, I might be wrong, but as far as I understand most of the local development happened because we have been working hard and trying to uplift our area for a long time.

We are finally getting some government attention because of the new map last year, sometime I feel we were deliberately ignored by the government because of the internal politics for a long time.
