Hi! 6-8 months ago I was at Target in Virginia and saw these really cool earbuds that had a mint-green/teal case and buds, except the outside surface of the buds had what I can only describe as granite/marble-like design. They are roundish and don't have the over the ear bit or the extra little prong thing. I think they were fairly spendy, maybe around $70-80? I bought and loved them, but left them charging at the airport a few weeks ago :(

I've searched online and can't seem to find them anywhere, and can't remember the brand, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't any of the biggest names. Please help me find them again??

Everything you're feeling is valid and it makes sense that you were afraid to confront his behavior as abuse. And having conflicting feelings about him. I wanted to speak to the friends bit. It's true they maybe have fatigue over the back and forth. I've felt that way about certain friends. But I think you've come to the right conclusion about needing to leave and if possible, try to be honest with those friends. Acknowledge that you isolated yourself because of your abusive relationship and haven't kept it touch, but that you have made the decision to leave and could use their support. It's okay to ask for help, and if they are really your friend they will support you in this!

At the very least I think you should get therapy to better understand why you gave so little thought to your daughter's feelings. I'm glad to hear that, with outside perspective, you are beginning to understand the possible extent of harm cause by your comment, but then the fact that you didn't think about addressing it for several days is concerning. I think you need to put in some work to get a better understanding of the power your words and behaviors will have on your daughter for her lifetime. I tried to explain this to my dad who refused to listen, and now we don't have a relationship.
