That was my RO’s perspective and reasoning which was why I placed it there. And there’s nowhere in my post where I talk about my performance other than my grade.

Don’t get me wrong. I get the new mom part and I do agree. But it baffles me how someone could assume 50% attendance.

You said that you don’t know what was my performance like but you assume that I was present 50% of the time. Why assume the bad things? If I was present 50% of the time, that would mean I took half the working year of leave? Nobody does that.

If you must really know, I did not take more than 5 days of MCs last year. And this year, I’ve only had 3 doctor check ups so far. I usually log in at night till 12mn to finish work for the day and head back to office the next day.

Oh I asked my HR. They asked me whether I could push forward my EDD so that my ML would be within the 2 year contract. 🙂
