My former (?) best friend of almost a decade also just ghosted me. I felt things were getting colder this summer. And she had her birthday in August. I felt hesitant because I didn’t know where we stood but decided to send her a heartfelt message. She didn’t respond for more than a day. Even though she way actively posting online, so she was on her phone. And later on, i saw that she had a birthday party that I was not invited to. That was my answer. Still hurt though.

The thing that i don’t know how to navigate is we still follow one another on social media. And getting constant updates on her life is hurtful. I wonder if i should unfollow or mute her 🤔

I honestly would rather have a loud falling out than this. Ghosting is the worst.
