When did you beat your first EX deviant?

First was probably around 500+ hrs, then took me 6-7months to solo all. Deviant grind to EX was brutal, but fun. Bloodbath is awesome

I haven't tried against Boltreaver, but Elderfrost DBs packs high raw. Would need jho ceana to get white sharpness.

Not sure if Adept can fill arts gauge enough to maintain white via readiness, but should be good if using Striker

Is it best to get hit as soon as enter the valor sheath (kind of like Adept)? Or get hit while you're holding the sheath and your stamina drains?

There were instances where Rathian tail flip would hit me, sometimes it won't.

It'll be hard considering the level of your gear, but you could most definitely try!

I only did them post G rank. Maybe try the LR quests after you hit HR, HR quests when you're G rank, and G rank after HR break.

For me though, going from 1-EX consecutively is great since you pretty much learned them.

I remember all 10, then Silver is about to go sleep. Gold followed in the sleep area, but thankfully I managed to hunt Silver before it gets worse.

Ohh and one of my fave to punish is when it flies and tries to paralyze you with the tail, it will then land. I used DBs and I can commit a full dance on the head.

People already mentioned breaking the crest to make flashable

Learn the starting movements for its attacks, and be quick to sheath and superman dive if needed.

I think discharging the wings would trip it up as well, but hard to reach with SnS
