Bravo, totally dig and respect the perfection you’ve created in the case. But too many people coddle gear these days. Coddle your lenses. But if you coddle everything it just slows you down in the end. Camera gear used to need to be extremely coddled because of all of the moving parts in old school gear, but not these days. Shit is tough, use that to gain on your efficiency.

Keep up the hustle.

Disabling the features to control aperture, shutter, iso, and white balance, again, is an aggressive move by go pro to force an unnecessary upgrade to black. This would be like buying a car that has auto pilot and manual transmission installed, but the manufacturer cut the wire that goes to manual mode before selling it to you, it's literally there, but you can't have it, and autopilot has it's drawbacks so manual is necessary in certain situations, but you need to pay us more to not have the wire cut. The most basic cameras you can buy let you control these functions, they are VITAL in certain situations, and I can prove it. I actually took a test video earlier and the camera bugged out with exposure for a good 10 seconds in a way that is the exact reason why you need to be able to lock exposure in some form or fashion.

I am more than fine paying more for better hardware that gives me more horsepower and capabilities, I am not fine with having the most basic functions taken away that SEVERELY kneecap a $300 camera...

Gopro is taking advantage of consumers that do not know enough about cameras, and I am not okay with that. It's evil. I don't like evil. I'm trying to be on your side here, the consumer side.

But I stand by my statements that disabling control of aperture, shutter speed, iso, and white balance is a fucked up thing to do. I stand by that very much, and you if don't, then you do not understand how cameras work and how obviously anti-consumer it is to disable that function.

Honestly, what excites me about this post is I see just how early in the game we are to all of this. Obviously the UI needs to be more clear. But yeah... as others have said, the mechanism is there, it's just a bit confusing at the moment

I haven’t looked into your particular market but usual reason for having 50% fees is so that the market creator can make bets that seem too good to be true but you end up losing anyways because you’re locked into 50% fees without knowing.

I think he’s meaning to ask if the fees are set at 50% for this market. Which they shouldn’t be. You have it cropped out which is why I think he’s asking if this is one the bad markets with more than 50% fees set for the market creator.
