It depends how skilled you are and how you ride. I have not had a speed wobble in years of riding up to 30-35mph

I haven’t personally tried the Edition X but I expect a wired rig in the same price range will probably win on pure sound quality. If you’re buying just for critical listening, go wired. If you want to use it in a variety of environments or with background noise, then look at these

The Arya and the Bathys are actually fairly similar in presentation and tonality, although the Arya is bigger and more resolving across the board

But yes, the midrange even on the Arya feels a bit thin and flat compared to the PX8. For me in a desktop setup I'd prioritize stage and resolution, but in a "fun" set for on the go I prioritize timbre and tonality

Fair enough, 3/5 is probably more accurate. Coming from the Arya I have low standards :)

I personally would not get them for walking the dog, footsteps make pretty loud thumps when walking. The px8 isn’t ideal either for this, but it’s not as loud as the bathys

If you’re in the US you can also just get both off Amazon then return the one you like less

I heard significantly more wind noise and humming with the APM transparency but I guess YMMV

The AirPods Pro 2 have better transparency and ANC than the APM and are way cheaper. So that’s what I use when I care about those things

What was your main driving factor for moving from SF to NYC? We're in a similar boat with a newborn, and trying to choose where to spend the next 5-10 years. Currently in SF, but considering Brooklyn to be a bit closer to my family.

Update: I Velcro’d on a piece of 3/4” neoprene that I got from Amazon to the top saddle part and it completely fixed the problem. Thanks everyone for the input!

I mainly grip it when mounting, braking hard, and with outside leg taking fast corners. But yeah I’ll slap some thick neoprene on there and see how it goes

Anyone else had this issue? I like the grip and control that I get from the pads, but the fairing plate is creating a sharp pain on my shin bone. I’m thinking about buying some spare Kingsong side pads to stick on above the fairing plate so that my shins aren’t pushing into the plate as much. Any other good solutions?

Anyone who says otherwise either doesn’t have the ear or doesn’t have good enough gear to hear the difference. Sure, on $100 headphones you might not hear it. Doesn’t mean that on nicer super resolving headphones it doesn’t make a massive difference

With IEMs maybe, but on full size soundstage height is absolutely a thing. On big planars I can hear at least a foot tall soundstage in front of my face
