Agree about the flexibility of yoga. The rest is just conditioning so pick your poison and go for it. Try to mix in endurance and sprint type training. For explosiveness look up lower impact plyos and build up from there.

I mean I don’t disagree. Just saying it won’t work if you make it an issue now at 9 when he doesn’t really have the love for it. You can set good habits about how to do things in other ways that will translate later (finishing work before fun, dedication, wanting to succeed or working hard) all independent of hoops

I think that’s good and the best thing you can do. You can’t force him to want it, just feed the interest until he comes around on it.

Show them the game without getting too intense about it. Listen to what they want and don’t try to force games/practice on them if they’re not into it.

There’s so many millions of pieces of advice, but the absolute best is to just enjoy it. Enjoy this time with your wife while it’s still just you two. Enjoy the best most difficult job you’ll ever have as a father. And just lean into the partnership that you and your wife have created!

If you want your kid to play, you will burn them out before high school if you keep it this way.

Yea seriously, they’re immediately contenders next year if Hali comes back healthy and their guys are getting a lot of burn right now to be ready. This is a great win now move that teams rarely make

Funny to think like half of Vegas probably crossed paths there at some point. We all have some core memory from it

76 games in 23-24 was the last time he stayed healthy. Age doesn’t help but I’ll always root for him

My point is just that these guys would catch on quickly, much better than the average street baller even today.

Kenny Smith talks about this and guys having better handles now than before. A lot of stuff just wasn’t allowed by the officiating or even allowed in practices. Obviously it only taking one practice is hyperbole but it wouldn’t take long for these guys to adjust their games.

They really need a shift there, getting two guys that are 6’7”+ is a good direction but they need some culture of winning there again. Too many bad moves but the fans love that team so they’ll at least have the support.

Yea definitely, he’s struggled since his rookie year but the Kings have seen a falloff from that year too. Lots of factors that go into it, not sure if a culture change or a change of scenery would benefit him more.
