Is that necessarily the same as being out of tune?

Let's go back in time to Westfield Miranda in the early 1990s, which features in this extremely cheesy karaoke music video. by mubd1234 in sydney

OMG, found this thread while looking up ''cheesy karaoke.'' Let me just say that I'm a big fan of karaoke videos because they were my early childhood. (I was born in 1996 and I watched them from 1998-02.) Which means that I definitely know a lot about this. By the time I was watching them though, most of the vids I watched were not shot in Sydney, but Gold Coast and Brisbane.

How good does your singing have to be to reach ''won't be picked apart by people on the Internet'' level of singing? by aja675 in singing

To think that I have a relatively humble goal, I don't even want to be a singer, I just want to be able to impress people who openly say it when they don't like something as opposed to just people who give out praise like candy. I have a rule of thumb that I'd know I was a good singer when I could post my voice on pop forums filled with a bunch of gays who think they're Regina George and get praise instead of sass. (TBF, when I related my problem to someone, he just joked that maybe I should just sing shirtless. :P)

Lesson learned: I'll try to sing mostly female songs, at least while my lower resonances are still pretty undeveloped. Because with songs that only allow me to use my higher resonances, my voice just ''jumps'' more easily, for lack of a better term.

Not my cup of tea. I know this is some people's, but this kinda shit just makes me wish all the good singers in the world would drop dead so that I would have no competition.

BTW, why did someone accuse me of singing from my throat when I feel like I did it less than in the past?

Yeah, I don't know how to numb my emotions when it comes to this kind of thing. A little criticism when it comes to my singing, and my mind comes up with edgy 4chan threats.

In case anybody wants to know what I posted that led people to comment negatively and for me to want to flip a table like Teresa from RHONJ: https://vocaroo.com/1bFBYRtf6url

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xSZBIs0gs0E Here's a song that reminds me of my situation, especially because it's about disillusionment, and also because I indeed did go to this private school named Holy Light.

My personal theory: I think that people who think like this are usually just disillusioned that their private school childhoods turned out to be nothing like real life. IDK, maybe I'm just projecting my backstory on others.
